Burning Caravan’ returns Nov. 23

Burning Caravan will return to the Batavia Armory at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23.

The group is a Cincinnati-based four-piece gypsy jazz and swing instrumental and vocal ensemble. The quartet performed  at the Armory March 23 to an enthusiastic audience.

Cincy Magazine named “The Burning Caravan at Japp’s” #6 on their Best of the City list for 2016. A sample of the group’s music is at https://www.reverbnation.com/theburningcaravan.

The Evergreen Center for Nature, Arts, and Music is sponsoring the concert.
Burning Caravan members are Chris Miller, trumpet, vocals and percussion; Mike Barrett, guitar and vocals; Sylvain Archer, lead guitars and vocals; and Bart Johnson, bass and vocals.

Angelo Santoro has organized the program and is benefactor of the Evergreen Center, which is on Old State Route 74 on the property that was home to Santoro Engineering Company. Mr. Santoro has devoted the site to education in the arts and sciences.
